Stan Sweeney, was born in Lebanon, PA and grew up in the beautiful Central Pennsylvania. He holds a B.F.A. in Communication Arts and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA. Stan has been creating advertising for national/international clients throughout his career and has won numerous national awards for his creativity.
The artist paints oils on canvas and captures a wide variety of subjects; sports in action, cycling, Tour De France, running, landscapes, marine scenes, wildlife, wild flowers and still life’s. His paintings are impressionistic or expressionistic in style and capture the subject matter with rich, vibrant colors.
Stan’s painting inspirations come from traveling, cycling, running, sea kayaking and art history. Paintings are in private and corporate collections.
